Any official who works NJSIAA contests for any sport is required to take an Annual Concussion Course given in conjunction with NFHS.
1. Complete the Course
Click the icon above to access the NFHS Concussion Course.
2. Upload Your Concussion Certificate
After completing the course, you should be able to download a certificate of completion in .pdf format (Adobe Acrobat). Once you have downloaded the file, you are now ready to upload it through RefSec by clicking the icon above.
Before you upload the certificate file, you must have two pieces of information:
Your roster number AND your RefSec PIN
Your email address used to register via RefSec AND your PIN.
It is the same information used for taking the refresher test online.
If you forgot any of the information, simply use the login screen to request your PIN. It should be sent to your email address.

REPORTING TECHNICAL FOULS
ALL unsporting technical fouls are tracked by the board and MUST be reported.
You have two options:
1. Use RefSec (icon below)
2. Contact your county representative directly. They are listed HERE.
Requirements vary based on the unsporting behavior.
If you have a unsporting technical foul, follow the process detailed under REPORT.
If the unsporting behavior resulted in the ejection of a player or coach for a flagrant offense, again you can follow the process detailed under REPORT, BUT you must also contact the Board Secretary and report it to them. You MUST also file a report with the NJSIAA. Click HERE to go to the NJSIAA DQ Reporting page.
For administrative technical fouls, NO reporting is required.
Remember to contact the Assignor who assigned you to the game. They would prefer that you reach out to them before they hear about the events from one of the schools involved. Communication is key....make the effort to contact him/her ASAP.
